My first career and passion was as a professional ballet dancer. I turned my childhood hobby into a career and joined the Royal Ballet School at 16 and later the Vienna Festival Ballet company. An injury ended my dancing career at just 21 and I faced finding a job that I could be as passionate about as I had my ballet.
Roll on 6 years and after many different customer services and sales roles I set up my own business providing holiday homes for dogs whilst their owners went on holiday, which I then franchised three years later and is now a household name and has multiple franchised branches across the UK. I trained in all aspects of the business as I went along, sadly coaching not being readily available or known back then - I would have got there so much quicker with a coach! I did this all while undergoing IVF and having my daughter, so Mum's I know it can be done and I'll show you how!
I was fortunate to be recognized in many business awards, in particular, winning Franchisor of the Year and receiving a business award from Theo Paphitis plus have been featured in glossy magazines such as Good Housekeeping and Red. 14 years later and I am using my passion and experience to support and enable aspiring and existing female Mum entrepreneurs and to fulfil their dreams and launch their own business.
